» Directions to Dwight Hall Dwight Hall is on the west-southwest corner of Old Campus, a quadrangle bound by streets Elm (north), Chapel (south), High (west), and College (east). » From Interstate 95 From the north: Connect to I-91 North in New Haven; take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow directions below for I-91. From the south: Connect to I-91 North in New Haven (left exit); take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street) and follow directions below for I-91. » From Interstate 91 From the north or south: Take Exit 3 (Trumbull Street). Stay in the middle lane and continue straight onto Trumbull Street to the fourth traffic light. Turn left onto Prospect Street and continue for one block. Prospect Street becomes College Street at this point. Continue for 2 blocks, where Old Campus will be on the right, and the New Haven Green will be on the left. Linsly-Chittenden is on the opposite of the quadrangle from Phelps Gate, the College Street entrance to Old Campus. » From Routes 15 and 34 (Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways) From the north: Take Exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for approximately five miles. Turn right on Sachem Street at the Peabody Museum traffic light. Continue to next traffic light and turn left onto Prospect Street. At the second traffic light, Prospect Street becomes College Street. Continue for 2 blocks, where Old Campus will be on the right, and the New Haven Green will be on the left. Linsly-Chittenden is on the opposite of the quadrangle from Phelps Gate, the College Street entrance to Old Campus. From the south: Take Exit 57. Drive east on Route 34 (Derby Avenue) for approximately five miles past the Yale Athletic Fields. Turn left onto Route 10 North, Ella T. Grasso Boulevard. Proceed to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Whalley Avenue. Whalley becomes Broadway in 1 mile, and Broadway becomes Elm Street in another .2 miles. Continue on Elm for two blocks to the second traffic light. Turn right onto College Street, when Old Campus will be on the right, and the New Haven Green will be on the left. Linsly-Chittenden is on the opposite of the quadrangle from Phelps Gate, the College Street entrance to Old Campus. » Visitors coming by train At the New Haven railroad station (Union Station) take a taxi to the Old Campus, High Street Gate. The taxi stand is located in front of Union Station. » Visitors coming by plane Tweed New Haven Airport is 10 minutes from Yale campus by car or taxi. If you are arriving at Bradley in Hartford, take CT Limousine to New Haven. From the limo stand, take a taxi to Old Campus. » Parking Yale does not maintain a visitor parking lot. On-street metered parking near Old Campus, and conference area is available on Crown, College, York, Chapel, Elm, and High Streets throughout the weekend (you should be able to park for free on the street after 8pm on Friday until Sunday). A commercial parking facility is located adjacent to the AACC on York Street (from the AACC, take a right at the first light onto York St. Parking garage is immediately on your left).
