Yale FOOT Program - Freshman Outdoor Orientation Trips
Currently in its seventeenth year, FOOT offers approximately 400 incoming students a unique wilderness experience. In the week before school begins, trained upperclassmen lead backpacking trips in eight scenic locations. FOOT is for everyone! The trips are designed for all levels of experience; complete novices as well as skilled mountaineers will find the trips rewarding.
