Regular Decision for International Students
Please note that you will require Adobe Acrobat to view these forms. You can download it here.
| Required Forms | How to Apply/Where to Send |
|---|---|
| Yale Financial Aid Application | There is no Institutional Financial Aid Application required at this time. A supplemental application will be sent to matriculated students in May. |
| 2012-2013 CSS Profile Application (Available October 1) |
Apply online at profileonline.collegeboard.com. Yale’s CSS College Code is 3987. Yale receives your profile data electronically from CSS so you do not send copies or printouts of your application to Yale. Please note: At Yale we are asking our international financial aid applicants to use the online College Board CSS Profile, if they are able to do so. This option provides Yale with more accurate and complete financial information, a consistent calculation of ability to pay, and quicker access to financial information without the delay of mailling, sorting, and imaging required for our systems. For those students who are not able to use the online CSS Profile (because of lack of internet access, lack of credit card access, or other financial difficulties), please contact our office. |
| Parents’ most recent tax return(s) | Submit signed and translated copies of your parents’ 2011 tax returns directly to Yale Student Financial Services. If your parents’ 2011 tax returns will not be completed by March 15, 2012, you should send translated copies of your parents’ 2010 tax returns. You should only submit 2010 tax forms if you will not be able to submit the 2011 returns by March 15. If your parents do not file a tax return, you should submit documentation of their income. |
| International Noncustodial Parent Statement (Required if your parents are divorced, separated, or were never married.) |
Download the form and submit directly to Student Financial Services along with a copy of your noncustodial parent’s 2011 tax return/income information. |
| International Business Supplement (Required if your parent(s) are self-employed or own a business.) |
Download form, and submit directly to Student Financial Services. |
Recommended Submission Date
In order to receive a provisional financial aid decision with your admissions decision, you must submit the above application materials by March 15, 2012. We will continue to process applications as they are received.
