Yale Society of Physics Students
The Society of Physics Students at Yale is the undergraduate organization of physics majors, and a chapter of the Society of Physics Students, a member organization of the American Institute of Physics (AIP). The Yale Chapter was founded in January 1998. Our activities center around the professional, the academic and the social. In addition to the biweekly pizza talks, our activities extend to movie nights and a bar-b-que on the last day of classes each year. Recently, we have been pondering the possibility of starting up a 'Physics On Wheels' program which will offer physics demonstrations at local high schools.
