The mission of
the University Tax Department is to ensure that the University
is in compliance with federal, state and local tax laws. The
Department's responsibilities include:
- Preparing and filing the University's federal
and state tax returns
- Responding to tax-related questions from
the University's academic and administrative departments
and providing strategic planning
- Educating the University community on current
tax issues related to the University
- Assisting the international University community
in reviewing relevant tax treaties and other Federal and
state withholding
