I. Speakers/MasterŐs Teas

1.     Roshan – surgeon general

a.     talked to Dean of public health, gave him details of us and SG

b.     Pia could help, Stephanie sending email to her

2.     Kim – Mia Farrow

a.     Will talk to high school adviser and Kristjiana

3.     Pia – lunch meeting with UNICEF person, Wednesday in shifts possible?

a.     Speaker – engineer by training, but wanted to do something with life so joined UNICEF

b.     Possibilities – 1) bring speaker, Oct 22? 2) trip to NY, 3) Public health lunch needs one more speaker

II. Box of goodies from UNICEF headquarters– fun things, posters, post-itŐs, Party mix..nope

II.    Trick-or-treat for UNICEF –

a.     Rosh will email dining hall managers for permission

            Sameer – Morse/Stiles, Ashley – Pierson, Jess – Silliman, Yoonjoo – Davenport, Stephanie – Calhoun, Lina/Kim – TD, Ann – Saybrook/Branford, Rosh/Roshan – Trumbull

b.     Putting in stores – Jess will send out instructions

c.     Dining hall invasions! Wear a Box costume

III.  Charles – Musical Cure – every other week go to a different place in New Haven, AIDS Clinic to do informal performances – singers to violinists

a.     could work with HeadStart (Alice)

IV. Tonight – Dwight hall funding forum – Jess will send in notes from other people she sent

VI. Social Justice Network funding - deadline tomorrow, can do retroactively, projects?

a. Parties for guest speaker, HeadStart

VII. New meeting place – Silliman Annex?

IX. YPHC – semesterly meeting

a.     Jess – local and global group

b.     Yale African Students Assoc. doing Africa Week (Lina secretary) Health, Hunger, and Homelessness theme of Africa week

c.     YIRA brings in lots of money from MUN conferences – sponsor service related trips abroad (Pia and Kristjiana)

X. FACEAIDS – Stanford started group, funds Partners in Health (PIH) in Rwanda, Back2School campaign - $150-200/yr to go to school in Rwanda, sell pins and bookmarks - $5, vow to match each donation, want $20,000 nationwide, give money to Jess by end of October
