Vusi Gumede | South Africa | 2009
Associate Professor, University of Johannesburg Vusi Gumede is associate professor in Development Studies at the University of Johannesburg. He also lectures on public policy at the Graduate School of Public and Development Management of the University of Witwatersrand. He is a Deputy Chairperson of Southern Africa Trust. Gumede worked for the South African government, in various capacities, for about ten years, and has been a consultant for numerous international organizations. He is featured in various platforms such as Who’s Who of Southern Africa and in the American Biographical Institute’s Great Minds of the 21st Century. He has been a visiting scholar to various British, American and Brazilian institutions, including the Institute for African Development at Cornell University, as Distinguished Africanist Scholar.
