Scholarships through the Gates and other Cambridge Trusts
EligibilitySeniors, Graduates, citizens of countries other than the UK PurposeSupports post-graduate degree study at Cambridge. See the Gates website and the website for the Cambridge Commonwealth and Cambridge Overseas Trusts for further information. Though endorsement from Yale is not required, interested applicants are encouraged to make an appointment with Kate Dailinger in the Office of Fellowship Programs. She can translate Cambridge terminology, help with contacts, advise on applications, and more. Application for these scholarships is made as part of the application to study at Cambridge (click here for further information about postgraduate study at Cambridge, applications, etc.). Candidates from outside the EU should also look carefully at the website for the Cambridge Commonwealth and Cambridge Overseas Trusts, noting in particular the fellowship search by country, which lists fellowships available through the Trusts, and also fellowships for which separate application must be made. |

*The new Cambridge GRADSAF application usually goes live on about September 1st, but does not tend to change much from year to year—look at the down-loadable paper application from last year to see what this year’s application should look like. [Note that 2011 will be the first year that everything will be able to be submitted online, so disregard instructions about hardcopies to be mailed to Cambridge.]
