The fully air-conditioned swing building, completed in August 1998, has approximately 100 two-bedroom suites available in the summer.  Each suite contains two single bedrooms, a furnished living room, kitchenette and bath.  In-suite telephone service is provided along with weekly linen and maid service.

In addition to the formal common room, the swing building has two computer clusters, four seminar rooms, an exercise room, one large meeting room, TV room and laundry facility.

For high school and college students - YALE COLLEGE.

Yale Residential College sleeping rooms are arranged in suites of two to five bedrooms, with a common room and one shared bathroom.   Housing for student campus guests is normally in same-sex suites only.  Rooms are furnished with an extra-long twin bed and mattress, pillow and blanket, desk, lamp, chair and bureau for each visitor. Most of the bedrooms are singles, though each building has a few double bedrooms.  Each residential college can house approximately 200 students. Pierson.jpg (16397 bytes)

For larger groups - THE OLD CAMPUS.

 

Yale's historic Old Campus is a large quadrangle of eight dormitories, two chapels, and three classroom buildings. The dormitories on this beautiful quad have beds for up to 1,000 guests. The Old Campus is adjacent to the New Haven Green and the bustling Chapel and York Streets.

Summer Staff

Our Summer Staff

The Summer Housing Office will be open to conform with residents' arrival and departure times. Its trained staff of Yale students familiar with the campus and city is available to assist with any campus or housing concerns.

 


Off-Campus Housing: 

Hotels & Inns

For attendees who do not wish to stay on campus, there are four hotels and inns within walking distance of campus ranging in size from 80 to 300 rooms. Through Yale Conference & EVent Services, participants can obtain a discounted Yale rate.
