The Rules Committee meeting of the Yale Political Union held on Monday 27th April 2009 was called to order at 8:49 p.m. in WLH 116, with the Speaker, Mr. Adam Hirst, presiding.

CLP moves that we certify Mr. David Porter as the Speaker of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
Mr. Porter takes over the gavel from the now-Former Speaker, Mr. Adam Hirst.
CCP moves that we thank Mr. Adam Lior Hirst for a fine term as Speaker of the Yale Poltiical Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CPL moves that we certify Mr. Alexander Martone as President of the Yale Politiclal Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
Mr. Martone rises to the table and takes over the seat of the now-Former President, Mr. David Manners-Weber.
CPL moves that we thank Mr. David Manners-Weber for a superb job as President of the Yale Political Union this semester. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CPR moves that we certify Miss Leah Libresco as Vice President of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CPL moves that we thank Mr. Alexander Martone for a fine job as Vice President of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CPL moves that we certify Mr. Fernando Reyes as Director of Development of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CLP moves that we thank Mr. Kevin Hu for a sensational term as Director of Development of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.

CPL moves that we thank Mr. Fernando Reyes for a fine year as Treasurer. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CTP moves that we thank Mr. Gabriel Ellsworth for a fine term of service as Secretary of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CIP moves that we thank Miss Shannon Connors for a fine term of service as Teller of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CIP moves that we thank Miss Meredith Morrison for a very fine term as Social Chair of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CTP moves that we remove all names of those not eligible to serve as Yale Political Union officers from the record. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
Speaker explains that all persons who are not undergraduate voting members of the Yale Political Union should be removed from the record.
CPR moves that we thank Mr. John “Jack” O'Connor for his fine service as Webmaster. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CTP moves that we thank Miss April Lawson for her fine service to the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CPL moves that we thank Miss Rachel Homer for her fine service as President of the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
CIP moves that we thank Miss Vivian Nereim for her fine service to the Yale Political Union. The motion is seconded and carries without objection.
