For women who may not be eligible for YUWO Scholarships, the following may provide alternative opportunities:
The Phipps and Dorothy E. Schoelzel Scholarships: for women pursuing college and postgraduate work. Maximum awards are $1,000.
Applicants for the Phipps Scholarships must have completed two or more years of undergraduate work in pursuit of a bachelor's or postgraduate degree with a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
Applicants for the Dorothy E. Schoelzel Memorial Scholarship must have completed three or more years of undergraduate work with a 3.0 or better grade point average, and must be matriculating for a postgraduate degree in education. Individuals must state how many years of undergraduate or graduate work will be completed by Fall 2002.
