Speaking of Ed Zigler's great accomplishments would not be complete if his outstanding service as a teacher and mentor was neglected. In his professional career he has "officially" mentored over 50 Yale PhD students and many others, at various stages of their careers, from undergraduates to junior faculty. These unofficial mentees include the nearly 500 fellows who have trained at the Bush / Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy and hundreds of other professionals across the country.
